30The timing of a Clip transition can also be manually decided when movingthe T-Bar or completed over a set duration when using the AUTO button.6.4 FTB Key Function6.4.1 EnableEnable the Fade to Black function.6.4.2 FTBFade to Black, this button fades the current video program source to black.When clicked again, it acts in reverse from complete black to the currentlyselected program video source.6.5 DSK TRANS PanelThis panel is used to turn only the DownStream Keyers on or off. This can be done toshow the chosen keyer in the Preview video output for configuration before live on-airuse.The labelled DSK 1 (Pgm/Pvw) or DSK 2 (Pgm/Pvw) buttons can be off or on. When aselected DSK button is green it is on and the active DSK result is seen in the multi viewPreview video image.Each DSK button has an LED above it. This LED can also be off or on (Green). When theselected DSK LED is on the active DSK settings are seen in the multi view Programvideo image and at the Program outputs.With the selected DSK already active in the Preview output press either the Cut or Auto button. Using theCut button will apply the current DSK settings to the live Program output immediately. Using the Autobutton will bring in the current DSK with a gentle mix or fade type transition. If the DSK LED is on theprogram or preview outputs, clicking the AUTO button again will cancel the DSK with a fade out or mixtransition.To understand the relationship between the DSK button and the LED above, try the example set up withDSK 1 in section 7.1, the subsequent chapter.
