4INTRODUCTIONThank you for choosing a De’Longhi product.Please take a few minutes to read the instructions to avoidrisks or damage to the appliance.IMPORTANTSAFEGUARDSWhen using electrical appliances, basicsafety precautions should always befollowed, including the following:- READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.- Do not touch hot surfaces; use handles orknobs.- To protect against fire, electric shock, andinjury to persons, DO NOT IMMERSE CORD ORPLUG in water or other liquids.- Close supervision is necessary when anyappliance is used by or near children.- Unplug from outlet when not in use andbefore cleaning. Allow to cool before puttingon or taking off parts, and before cleaningappliance.- Do not operate any appliance with adamaged cord or plug, or after the appliancehas malfunctioned or has been damagedin any manner.
