7ENensuring the ground continuitybetween the machine and thenetwork.The appliance must only beconnected after installation.• Do not pull the cord over sharpedges, clamp it or allow it tohang down.• Keep the cord away from heatand damp.• If the supply cord or the plugare damaged, they must bereplaced by the manufacturer,its service agent or similarlyqualified persons, in order toavoid all risks.• Do not operate any appliancewith a damaged cord orplug or after the appliancemalfunctions, or has beendamaged in any manner.Return appliance to the nearestauthorized service facilityfor examination, repair oradjustment.• If an extension cord is required,use only an earthed cord witha conductor cross-section ofat least 1.5 mm2 or matchinginput power.• To avoid hazardous damage,never place the appliance onor beside hot surfaces such asradiators, stoves, ovens, gasburners, open flame, or similar.• Always place it on a horizontal,stable and even surface.
