Initial Installation: If installed with legs, do not push against the fryer’s side to adjust itsposition. Use a pallet or lift jack to lift the fryer slightly and place it where it is to be installed.B. Relocating the Fryer: If relocating a fryer installed with legs, remove all weight from each legbefore moving.Note: If a leg becomes damaged during movement, contact your service agent for immediaterepair/replacement.CAUTIONFryers must be at room temperature, empty of oil, and if fitted with legs, lifted duringmovement to avoid damage and possible bodily injury.DANGERHot shortening can cause severe burns. Avoid contact. Under all circumstances, oil mustbe removed from the fryer before attempting to move it to avoid oil spills, and the falls andsevere burns that could occur. This fryer may tip and cause personal injury if not secured ina stationary position.3.2 Leg and Caster InstallationWARNINGDean fryers equipped with legs are for permanent installations. Fryers fitted with legs mustbe lifted during movement to avoid damage and possible bodily injury. For a moveable orportable installation, Dean optional equipment casters must be used.Questions? Install legs and rear rigid casters near where the fryer is to be used, as neither is secure forlong transit. Unit cannot be curb mounted and must be equipped with the legs and castersprovided.2. When positioning the fryer, gently lower the fryer into position to prevent undue strain tothe legs and internal mounting hardware. Use a pallet or lift jack to lift and position thefryer if possible. Tilting the fryer may damage the legs.
