WARNINGCAUTIONNOTICEDANGERGeneral Notes & WarningsThe HD Zoom SeaCam supports a variety ofconnectors and pin-outs. By looking on the camera,the user can see the model, depth rating, videoformat as well as the pin-out orientation. Be sure toverify the pin-out before use.It is important when preparing the system fordeployment that the cable at both the cameraand topside ends be carefully dressed to providecomplete strain relief to the connectors. Failureof the strain relief provisions will almost certainlydamage the connectors and possibly other elementsof the system.DANGERDo not operate any high voltage electrical equipmentin or around water without using a Ground FaultInterrupt circuit (GFI) and an isolation transformer,especially when divers are in the water.WARNINGNever place the camera in a vice or other hardclamping tool. Should it become necessary to holdthe camera more tightly than can be managed byhand, use a clean, good quality strap wrench.Pre & Post Dive InspectionRinse your HD Zoom SeaCam in fresh water after usein saltwater.Always check to make sure that the rear bulkheadconnector assembly is secured before deployment.Before and after each deployment, check the followingareas for damage, wear or corrosion:● Rear bulkhead connector assembly● Video cable● Front window● Retaining CowlWARNINGAfter each deployment, carefully check to makesure the camera has not flooded. It is possible forthe camera to partially flood and then reseal itselfwhile underwater. Upon surfacing, the cameracan become internally pressurized, which may bepotentially dangerous. Additionally, if the powerremains on when the camera has partially flooded,it is possible for electrolytic generation of anexplosive mixture of hydrogen and oxygen gases.If a camera appears flooded upon removal from thewater, it should be treated as potentially dangerous.Point the camera away from persons and valuableequipment and make sure that the power is
