7 - ENAppropriate installationlocation• Install your machine in environments whichhave no risk of freezing and in a stableand level position.• Do not place your machine on a long pilerug or on similar surfaces.• Operate your machine in a well ventilated,dust-free environment.• Do not block the air ducts in front of andunder the machine with materials such aslong pile rugs and wooden bands.B Make sure that your machine is not placedon the power cable.B Keep at least 1.5 cm from the edges ofother furniture.Under Counter Installation• A special part (Part no: 295 970 0100)replacing the top trim must be providedand installed by the Authorized Service inorder to use the machine under a counteror in a cupboard. It should never beoperated without the top trim.• Leave at least 3 cm of space between theside and rear walls of the machine andthe walls of the counter/cupboard wheninstalling your machine under a counter orin a cupboard.Mounting over a washingmachine• A fitting device should be used betweenthe two machines for use on a washingmachine. The bracket (Part no. 296 2800100 white/296 280 0200 gray) must beinstalled by the Authorized Service.• Place the machine on a sound floor. If it is tobe placed on top of a washing machine,the approximate weight togethermay reach 180 kg when they are full.Therefore, the floor must be capable ofcarrying the load on it!Adjusting the feetIn order to ensure that yourmachine operates moresilently and vibration-free,it must stand level andbalanced on its feet. Frontfeet of your machine can beadjusted. Balance the machine by adjustingthe feet.1. Loosen the feet by hand.2. Adjust them until the machine stands leveland firmly.C Do not use any tools to loosen theadjustable feet. Otherwise, they can bedamaged.C Never unscrew the adjustable feet fromtheir housings.2 plastic pieces supplied along with theOperating Instructions prevent your machinefrom slipping on wet and slippery surfaces. Toinstall the plastic parts:1. Tilt your machine to backwards.2. Fit the plastic parts on to the frontadjustable feet. Press on the plastic partsto snap them into place.3. Check the balance of your machineagain and readjust the adjustable feet ifnecessary.Ventilation hose andconnection (for productsequipped with an outlet vent)Ventilation hose allows exhaust air from insidethe machineVented dryer has 1 air outlet.Stainless sheet metal or aluminum pipes canbe used instead of hose.
