If either the processor or the heat sink is replaced,use the thermal grease provided in the kit to make sure that thermal conductivityis achieved.1 Clean the thermal grease from the bottom of the heat sink and reapply thethermal grease.2 Align the captive screws on the heat sink with the screw holes on the system board.3 In sequential order (indicated on the heat sink), tighten the captive screws thatsecure the heat sink to the system board.Postrequisites1 Replace the computer base.
