Youmust enter the Service Tag in the BIOS setup program after you replace thesystem board.NOTE: Replacing the system board removes any changes you have made tothe BIOS using the BIOS setup program. You must make the appropriatechanges again after you replace the system board.NOTE: Before disconnecting the cables from the system board, note thelocation of the connectors so that you can reconnect the cables correctlyafter you replace the system board.Prerequisites1 Remove the computer cover.2 Remove the front bezel.3 Remove the memory modules.4 Remove the wireless card.5 Remove the processor fan.6 Remove the heat sink.ProcedureNOTE: Note the routing of all cables as you remove them so that you canreroute them correctly after you replace the system board.
