Replacing the Hard-Drive Assembly | 21Replacing the Hard-Drive AssemblyWARNING: Before working inside your computer, read the safety informationthat shipped with your computer and follow the steps in "Before You Begin" onpage 7. After working inside your computer, follow the instructions in "AfterWorking Inside Your Computer" on page 9. Exercise care when handling thehard drive.Procedure1 Align the screw holes on the hard-drive bracket with the screw holes onthe hard drive.2 Replace the screws that secure the hard-drive bracket to the hard drive.3 Slide and place the hard-drive assembly in the hard-drive bay.4 Slide the hard-drive assembly backward to connect the hard-drive assembly to thesystem board.5 Replace the screws that secure the hard-drive assembly to the computer base.Postrequisites1 Follow the instructions from step 3 to step 4 in "Replacing the Memory Module(s)"on page 14.2 Replace the battery.
