Use Dell Factory Image Restoreonly if System Restore did not resolve youroperating system problem.If you received an Operating System disc•with your computer, you can use it to restoreyour operating system. However, using theOperating System disc also deletes all dataon the hard drive. Use the disc only if SystemRestore did not resolve your operatingsystem problem.System RestoreThe Windows operating systems providea System Restore option which allows you toreturn your computer to an earlier operatingstate (without affecting data files) if changesto the hardware, software, or other systemsettings have left the computer in an undesirableoperating state.
