4 Information UpdateLCD Status Messages UpdateTable 1-2 lists updates to the LCD status messages that can occur and the probable cause for eachmessage. The LCD messages refer to events recorded in the system event log (SEL). For informationon the SEL and configuring system management settings, see your systems management softwaredocumentation.NOTE: Each diagnostic LCD message is assigned a priority. The highest priority messages supersede any groupof messages with a lower priority.Table 1-1. A fault is indicated on thelink adjacent to the DIMM causedby a faulty condition in either thespecified DIMM, the next DIMMin the channel, or possibly thesystem board. When this erroroccurs, the other FBD branch in thememory pair is disabled, resulting inthe second error message.Reseat all of the DIMMs on theindicated FBD channel. See"Memory" in the Hardware Owner’sManual for information about theFBD branches and channels. See"Troubleshooting System Memory" inthe Hardware Owner’s Manual.
