When a program does not require fullperformance, significant amounts of power can be saved. Performance isdesigned to still be responsive, with maximum processor performance beingdelivered when required, and automatic power savings when possible.NOTE: AMD PowerNow! support is dependent on the operating system andversion used on your system. Disable AMD PowerNow! if your operating systemdoes not fully support this feature. See your operating system user guide for moreinformation.To disable the AMD PowerNow! feature, run the System Setup program anddisable the Demand-Based Power Management option on the CPUInformation screen.Virtualization Technology(Enabled default)NOTE: Disable this feature if your system will not berunning virtualization software.Displays when the processors support virtualizationtechnology. Enabled permits virtualization software touse virtualization technology incorporated in theprocessor design. This feature can only be used bysoftware that supports virtualization technology.Demand-Based PowerManagement(Enabled default)NOTE: Check your operating system documentation toverify if the operating system supports this feature.Enables or disables demand-based power management.When enabled, the CPU Performance State tables willbe reported to the operating system; when disabled, theCPU Performance State tables will not be reported tothe operating system.
