System Setup OptionsKey Functions — This field appears below theOptions Field and lists keys and their functionswithin the active system setup field.NOTE: Depending on your computer and installed devices, the items listed in this section may not appear, or may not appear exactly as listed.SystemProcessor Info Identifies the processor type, clock speed, busspeed, L2 cache, ID, and whether the processor ismultiple core capable, supports Hyper-Threading andsupports 64-bit technology.Memory Info Identifies the memory type, speed, and channelmode (dual or single) by DIMM slot location.PCI Info Indicates the expansion card type by slot location.Date/Time Displays current date and time settings.Boot Sequence The computer attempts to boot from the sequence ofdevices specified in this list.NOTE: If you insert a boot device and restart thecomputer, this option appears in the system setupmenu. To boot from a USB memory device, forexample, select the USB device and move it so that itbecomes the first device in the boot sequence.DrivesDiskette Drive(Internal default)Enables and disables the floppy drive attached to theDSKT connector on the system board and sets readpermissions for the drive.l Off — All floppy drives are disabled.l USB — USB floppy drives are enabledl Internal — The integrated floppy drive isenabled.l Read Only — The integrated floppy drive isenabled with read-only access.NOTE: Operating systems with USB support willrecognize USB floppy drives regardless of this setting.SATA Drives 0 through 5(On default)Enables or disables drives attached to the SATAconnectors on the system board.l Off — A device attached to the interface is notusable.l On — A device attached to the interface isusable.l RAID On - A device attached to the interfaceis configured for RAID (see About Your RAIDConfiguration).PATA Drives 0 through 1(On default)Enables or disables drives attached to the ATAconnectors on the system board, and lists thecontroller details.l Off — A device attached to the interface is notusable.l On — A device attached to the interface isusable.
