To prevent overheatingensure that you leave a minimum of 5.1 cm(2 inches) on the right and left sides. Youshould never place your computer in anenclosed space, such as a cabinet or drawerwhile it is powered on.WARNING: Do not block, push objectsinto, or allow dust to accumulate inthe air vents. Do not place your Dellcomputer in a low-airflow environment,such as a closed briefcase, or on fabricsurfaces, such as carpets or rugs, whileit is powered on. Restricting the airflowcan damage the computer, deterioratethe computer performance, or causea fire. The computer turns on the fanwhen the computer gets hot.
