3Stainless Steel Electric SkilletBefore First Use1. Remove all packing materials.2. Wash the skillet and lid in warm soapy water andrinse well. Dry thoroughly. DO NOT immerse thetemperature probe in water.Operating the UnitNote: Appliance may give off a fine smoke and a slightburning odor when operating for the first time.1. Place the unit on a dry, flat surface.2. Turn the temperature dial to the “OFF”setting. Plugthe temperature probe into the unit.3. Turn the temperature control dial to the desiredtemperature. The indicator light will turn on. Whenthe light turns off, the unit has reached it’s desiredtemperature. It is ready to start cooking.4. Turn the temperature dial to the “OFF” positionwhen you are finished cooking. Unplug from thewall outlet.Cleaning the Unit1. Turn the temperature dial to the “OFF”position.Unplug from the wall outlet. Remove the temperatureprobe from the unit.2. Allow the unit to cool before cleaning.3.
