Getting Started Setup Playback Setting the Timer Other Functions TroubleshootingENGLISH SpecificationsCheck the left (L) and right (R) channels and the + (red) and – (black)terminals on the set and the speakers to be used and interconnectthe cables to the same polarities.(R) (L)*/ w q w qConnecting the Speaker Cables1 Peel off about 10 mm of the sheathing atthe tip of the cable, twist the core wire andterminate it.2 Turn the speaker terminal counterclockwiseto loosen it.3 Insert the speaker cable’s core wire intothe base of the speaker terminal.4 Turn the speaker terminal counterclockwiseto tighten it.NOTE• Use speakers with an impedance of 6 to 16 Ω/ohms. The protectioncircuit may be activated if speakers with an impedance other thanspecified are used.• Connect the speaker cables in a way that they do not stick out of thespeaker terminals. The protection circuit may be activated if the corewires touch the rear panel or screws or if the + and – sides touch.• Never touch the speaker terminals while the power is on. Doing socould cause electric shock.Protector circuitThe protection circuit will be activated in the following cases:• When the speaker cable's core wires are touching the rearpanel or screws or when the speaker cable’s + and – sides aretouching• When the surrounding temperature is extremely high• When the internal temperature rises due to extended use with ahigh outputIf this happens, unplug the power cord, then check the connectionsof the speaker cables and input cables. If the set’s temperatureis extremely high, wait for it to cool off and improve surroundingventilation. After doing this, plug the power cord back in.If the protection circuit is activated though there are no problemsin ventilation around the set or in connections, the set could bedamaged.
