Theterminal will establish a connection with the host system and start emulation.After a Telnet session has been successfully established, the terminal will remain insession for a maximum of 30 minutes at a time until it has been authorized. Onceauthorized, there is no software restriction to the session time. The instructions forauthorizing the terminal are presented in Authorizing PowerNet.Standard SetupThe default terminal setup is sufficient for most installations. However, to meet site-specific requirements, it may be necessary to customize terminal operation.
