Calibration/AdjustmentDuring calibration, the span of the balance is adjusted to the changes inambient conditions. You must adjust or calibrate your new balance at theplace of installation after each warm-up period and before the firstmeasurement. You must also re-adjust or recalibrate your balance eachtime you set it up in a different area or when ambient conditions change(especially the temperature). You can interrupt any adjustment or calibration function bypressing CAL/CF.During calibration, the weighing pan must be unloaded.Internal Calibration(Select Menu code: 1 9 3*)1. Empty weighing pan2. Press TARE3. When display reads 0 grams press the CAL key to activate thecalibration function. The built-in calibration weight is internally appliedby servomotor and removed at the end of adjustment or calibration. If any interference affects the calibration procedure, you mayobtain a brief display of the error code “Err 02.” In this case, tareand press the CAL key again.External Calibration(Select Menu code: 1 9 1)Use only calibration weights with nominal mass values and tolerancesequal to or better than the accuracy class specified for your balance.1. Empty weighing pan2. Press TARE3. Press CAL4. Center the calibration weight on the weighing pan. The balance thencalibrates automatically.5. At the end of calibration, the calibration weight is displayed and thestability symbol “g” appears.Memo:Note:Memo:Note:Memo:Note:6
