Tighten firmly using wrench.IMPORTANT: Tighten regulator with ventpointing down. Pointing vent down protectsregulator from weather damage.3. Connect hose to inlet connector. Tightenfirmly using a wrench. IMPORTANT: Extrahose or piping may be used if needed. Installextra hose or piping between hose/regulatorassembly and propane tank. You must use theregulator supplied with heater.4. Open propane supply valve on propane tank(s)slowly. Note: If not opened slowly, excess-flow check valve on propane tank may stopgas flow. If this happens, close propane supplyvalve and open again slowly.5. Check all connections for leaks.6. Note: If not opened slowly,excess-flow check valve on propane tank willstop gas flow. You may hear a click from theexcess-flow check valve closing. If this hap-pens, reset the excess-flow check valve byclosing propane supply valve and open againslowly.
