Heat is generated by both realistic flamesand glowing coals. This heater is designed for vent-free operation with flue damper closed. It has beentested and approved to ANSI Z21.11.2 standard forunvented heaters. State and local codes in someareas prohibit the use of vent-free heaters.SAFETY DEvICEThis heater has a pilot with an Oxygen Deple-tion Sensing (ODS) safety shutoff system. TheODS/pilot is a required feature for vent-free roomheaters.
