This tank can be purchased fromyour propane/LP or builder supplier. See Con-necting to Natural Gas Supply, page 9.LOCATING APPLIANCEWhen locating this appliance, follow all safetyinformation on pages 2 through 4.Do not use this appliance indoors. It is for outdooruse only. When locating this appliance under woodor noncombustible overhangs, the chimenea capmust be in place and the specified clearances mustbe maintained (see Figure 2, page 7).Any types of materials other than wood or non-combustible masonry surfaces could be damagedor set on fire.Maintain proper clearances from combustiblematerials.• Make sure combustible materials such as treesand fabrics are at least 10 feet (3 m) above thechimenea cap.• Maintain a minimum of 4 feet (1.3 m) ofclearance between the top of the vent cap andany overhead combustible material (secondstory balcony or deck, patio overhang such asuncovered lattice or lanai).Note: The chimenea will produce some sooting.It is advisable to locate the chimenea away fromany overhanging.• Make sure all combustible materials such asshrubs, furnishings, and fabrics are at least36" (1 m) from the sides and in front of thechimenea opening.• Maintain a minimum 12" (30 cm) clearancefrom the widest point on the sides and back ofchimenea base to any combustible materialssuch as wood, vinyl siding, or masonry con-struction, and 36" (1 m) in front of the chimeneaopening.Make sure to locate appliance, gas hose, and rigidsupply lines out of traffic areas to prevent trippingand accidental damage to the chimenea and supplyconnections.
