It has been tested and approved to ANSZ21.11.2 standard for unvented heaters. Stateand local codes in some areas prohibit theuse of vent-free heaters. This heater mayalso be operated as a vented decorative(ANS Z21.60) product by opening the fluedamper (non-thermostat operation only).SAFETY PILOTThis heater has a pilot with an OxygenDepletion Sensor Shutoff System (ODS).The ODS/pilot is a required feature for vent-free room heaters. The ODS/pilot shuts offthe heater if there is not enough fresh air.PIEZO IGNITION SYSTEMThis heater has a piezo ignitor.
