The cord must havea three-prong, grounding plug and a three-hole re-ceptacle. Make sure cord is in good shape. It mustbe heavy enough to carry the current needed. Anundersized cord will cause a drop in line voltage.This will result in loss of power and overheating.Use a No. 16 AWG cord for lengths less than 50feet (15.24 m) .CAUTION: Verify proper op-eration after servicing.Operating FanThe blower is connected to a thermostat. When unitheats up, the fan will operate. A few minutes afterunit cycles off or is turned off, the fan will shutoff. The fan will cycle on and off in this manner.Note: If you have a heater with a thermostat, theheater and fan will not turn off and on at exactlythe same time. Fan cycle times will vary with theheat setting selected.
