Piezo ignitor nut is loose4. Broken ignitor cable5. Bad piezo ignitor6. Ignitor electrode positionedwrong7. Ignitor electrode broken1. Gas supply turned off or equip-ment shutoff valve closed2. Control knob not in PILOTposition3. Control knob not pressed inwhile in PILOT position4. Air in gas lines when in-stalled5. Depleted gas supply (pro-pane/LP only)6. ODS/pilot is clogged7. Gas regulator setting not correct1. Control knob not fully pressed in2. Control knob not pressed inlong enough3. Safety interlock system hasbeen triggered4. Equipment shutoff valve notfully open5. Pilot flame not touching ther-mocouple, which allows ther-mocouple to cool, causingpilot flame to go out. Thisproblem could be caused byone or both of the following:A) Low gas pressureB) Dirty or partially cloggedODS/pilot6. Thermocouple connectionloose at control valve7. Thermocouple damaged8. Control valve damagedREMEDY1. Reconnect ignitor cable2. Free ignitor cable if pinchedby any metal or tubing. Keepignitor cable dry3. Tighten nut holding piezo ig-nitor to base panel of log set.
