Access ground screwthrough underside of heaterbase. Remove groundscrew. Disconnect the greenmotor wire and the greenpower cord wire fromunderside of shell (seeFigure 6).2. Remove blue, white, andblack motor wires fromterminal board (see Figure 6).3. Remove two wire guardscrews. Remove wire guard.4. Set heater on its base.Remove three screws thatattach fan guard to heatershell (see Figure 7).5. Remove motor and fanguard from heater shell.Carefully pull the motorwires from hole in shell(see Figure 7).6. Use (1/8") Hex wrench toloosen setscrews whichhold fan to motor shaft(see Figure 8).7. Remove fan. Be careful notto damage the fan bladepitch.8. Use nut driver to removethree nuts that attach fanguard to motor. Remove fanguard from motor (see Fig-ure 9).9. Discard old motor.10. Attach fan guard to newmotor with three nuts.Tighten nuts firmly.11. Place fan onto motor shaftof new motor.IMPORTANT: When plac-ing fan onto motor shaft,make sure fan hub in posi-tioned away from motorbody (see Figure 8). Makesure setscrews are touchingback of flat surfaces onmotor shaft. Tighten set-WARNING ICON G 001WARNINGNever service heater while it is plugged in, connected topropane supply, operating, or hot.
