It has a sealedgas combustion chamber that uses a coaxial pipe(pipe within a pipe and having the same center)venting system. It brings in fresh air for combus-tion through the outer pipe and combustion gasesare exhausted through the inner pipe. If the glassdoor assembly and venting pipe are not properlyseated, connected and sealed, carbon monoxideleakage (spillage) can occur.Carbon Monoxide Poisoning: Early signs of carbonmonoxide poisoning resemble the flu, with head-aches, dizziness or nausea. If you have these signs,the log set may not be working properly. Get freshair at once! Have log set serviced. Some peopleare more affected by carbon monoxide than others.These include pregnant women, people with heartor lung disease or anemia, those under the influenceof alcohol and those at high altitudes.Natural & Propane/LP Gas: Natural & propane/LPgas are odorless. An odor-making agent is addedto the gas. The odor helps you detect a gas leak.However, the odor added to the gas can fade.
