6159946870_14Series: C11 / 52English08/2015MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONSShould the suction system get clogged,remove the sanding pad and blow into thedust exhaust pipe outwards.The use of spare parts other than thoseoriginally supplied by the manufacturermay result in a drop in performance orin increased maintenance and level ofvibration and in the full cancellation of themanufacturer’s liability.To obtain maximum efficiency from thepneumatic tool, preserve its featuresand avoid repeated repairs, a routineinspection and repair programme arerecommended at least every 2000hours, the intervals between the variousinspections depending on the amount ofexertion on the power tool.When disposing of components,lubricants, etc... ensure that the relevantsafety procedures are carried out.The rotor blades in this tool have a PTFEcontent. The normal health and safetyrecommendations concerning PTFE mustbe observed when handling these rotorblades.● Do not smoke.● Motor components must be washedwith cleaning fluid and not blown clearwith an air line.● The silencer must be replaced whendirty, do not clean and re-use.● Wash hands before commencing anyother activity.DISASSEMBLy AND REASSEMBLyINSTRUCTIONSSee page 5/6.Indicates direction of dismantling.Disassembling the tool● Position the power tool in the baseplate(drawing C) and clamp the assembly in a vicefitted with soft jaws.● Slip the flat wrench (56) between the suctioncap (35, 36, 37, 38, 39) and the sanding padon the flats of the eccentric (33) to unscrewthe pad.● Remove the suction cap (35, 36, 37, 38, 39).Disassembling and reassembling the airmotor● Using the pin wrench (drawing D), loosen theplug (30).● Extract the motor.● Remove the O-Ring (25) and the circlip (20).● Using a bearing extractor, remove the rearend plate (22), pull out the cylinder, the rotor,the vanes and the Woodruff key.● Remove the front end plate (27) and the plug(30).● Extract the bearing (21) from the rear endplate (22) by means of the chuck (drawing G).● Using two screwdrivers, pull out the bearingfrom the shaft (drawing B), then extract thebearing (28) by means of an extractor.● Clean and replace parts if necessary.● Using the shouldered chuck (drawing E),press the bearing (28) onto the eccentric shaft(32), then position the plug (30).● Using the shouldered chuck (drawing E),press the front end plate (27) onto the ballbearing.● Position the Woodruff key into its housing(tight).● Position the rotor (check direction of assemblyon drawing A) and make sure that the rotorcan slide freely on the shaft.● Slip the vanes into the rotor and position thecylinder on the front end plate, using the rollpin.● Adjust the rear end plate fitted with its bearing(end plate notch in line with cylinder notch).● Leaning on the eccentric and not on thecrankpin, press the rear end plate on, using ashouldered chuck (drawing E).
