Oven Zone CalibrationThe Control instrument has been factory-tested and calibrated. Under normal operatingconditions, recalibration should not be necessary. However, to recalibrate the Control Instrumentfor a specific operating condition, follow the instructions below.Warning!Changing program parameters alters the function of the Control.Proceed carefully and fully understand each parameter beforechanging that parameter.1. Required Equipment: Temperature measuring device with a compatible temperature sensor.2. Verify that bS (PV Bias) programmed in the Control instrument is set to 0. For moreinformation on programming parameters refer to Section 5.4.2.1.3. Locate the temperature sensor of the temperature measuring device at the center of thechamber. Load the chamber with a standard amount of product tosimulate a specific operation condition.4. Operate the oven until it reaches the desired operating temperature and the Control instrumentis regulating.a. It will take several minutes for the unit to stabilize at the controlled temperature.b. Allow at least 30 minutes of operation at the stabilized temperature before proceeding.5. Subtract the average controlled temperature (value appearing on the Control instrumentdisplay) from the actual oven temperature (value appearing on the temperature measuringdevice display).a.
