Jump-Starting a Vehicle's EngineTo operate a 12 V DC appliance:1. Open the protective cover on the DC power outlet of theDuracell® Powerpack.2. Plug the 12 V DC appliance into the DC power outlet onthe left side of the unit, and tum the 12 V DC applianceon (if required).If the 12 V DC appliance draws more than 12 A (or has ashort-circuit defect), the internal circuit breaker of theDuracell® Powerpack shuts off the power to the 12 VDC appliance. If this occurs, unplug the 12 V DCappliance. The internal circuit breaker automaticallyresets after a few seconds.3. Fully recharge the Duracell® Powerpack as soon aspossible after each use.As the DC power outlet is internally wired directly to theDuracell® Powerpack's battery, extended operation of a12 V DC appliance may result in excessive batterydischarge.
