Owner’s Manual – Prodigy 410H30713071Rev.JCommissioning AdjustmentsNote: Commissioning adjustmentscan be done only by a licensedtradesperson.Main Gas Pressure RegulatorAdjustmentThe main burner pressure must beset at installation and should not needreadjustment.The pressure is best checked byconnecting a water manometer orequivalent to the test point nipple on thegas control. The test point pressure mustcomply with the value on the Data Label.If adjustment is necessary, proceed asfollows:1. Remove the securing screw (1) fromthe top of the Gas Control and liftthe plastic cover (2) upwards.2. Locate the regulator adjustmentscrew on the lower left hand side ofthe Gas Control (3).3. Light the burner. Rotate adjustmentscrew clockwise to increase, or anti-clockwise to decrease pressure.4. Replace the plastic cover andsecuring screw.Note: For propane water heaters,the pressure adjustment is at the gascylinder regulator. Adjustment should beconducted as required to ensure correctsupply pressure to water heater as perAS/NZS 5601.1.Ignition System (Spark Gap)Check the gap between the sparkelectrode and the pilot burner is 3 –5mm and adjust as necessary. Push theigniter button to test for a spark.Warning: Test the spark gap only wherethere is no build up of gas.Test The Water HeaterTest operation by lighting the waterheater (see Lighting the WaterHeater, earlier in this manual).132
