Insert the ACplug into a standard 120V 60 Hz polarized AC outlet.Notes:Never connect the AC plug to other than the specified voltage (120V 60 Hz).Use the attached power cord only.If the polarized AC cord does not fit into a non-polarized AC outlet, do notfile or cut the blade. It is your responsibility to have an electricianreplace the obsolete outlet.If you cause a static discharge when touching the television and thetelevision fails to work, unplug the television from the AC outlet, thenplug it back in. The television should work normally.Installing batteries in the remote controlBefore using the remote control, you must install batteries. Use two AAAsize batteries. The batteries may last about one year depending on howmuch the remote control is used. For best performance, we recommendthe batteries should be replaced on a yearly basis, or when the remoteoperation becomes erratic. To confirmthe sleep time setting, press theSLEEP button once and theremaining time is momentarilydisplayed. To cancel sleep time,press the SLEEP button repeatedlyuntil the display turns to 0.5 VOL + / - Press the + button to increase thevolume level. Press the - button todecrease the volume level.
