Some carpets will fuzz if a rotating brushbar is used when vacuuming. Under normal use, it will require cleaning at least once every 6 months inaccordance with these instructions to maintain performance. The filter may require more frequent washing ifvacuuming fine dust.Turn power off and unplug before washing the filter. Failure to do so could result in electric shockor personal injury.Wash the filter in cold water only.Do not use detergent to clean filter.Do not put the filter in the dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer, microwave or near anopen flame.Ensure the filter is completely dry before refitting in your machine. Air dry for at least 24 hours.Clearing blockagesClearing blockages is not covered by your machine’s limited warranty.Turn power off and unplug before checking for blockages. Failure to do so could result in electric shock orpersonal injury.This machine is fitted with an automatically resetting thermal cut-out.
