12Connecting to the Dyson Link appThe Dyson Link app allows you tocontrol, schedule, monitor, andcustomise your settings for yourappliance from your mobile device.Wi-Fi is enabled by default. Todisable or enable the Wi-Fi pressand hold the ON/OFF button on theappliance for 5 Seconds.Plug in your appliance to the mainselectricity supply and turn onthe power.Check your mobile deviceis compatible with the app,switched on, connected to a Wi-Finetwork and Bluetooth ® wirelesstechnology enabled.If you do not already have theDyson Link app you will need todownload it from the App Store orGoogle Play.Open the Dyson Link app andfollow the instructions to create anew account if you do not alreadyhave one.Follow the on-screen instructionsto pair your appliance to the DysonLink app.You will now be able to use theDyson Link app to create customsettings, monitor informationfrom the appliance, controlyour appliance, schedule useand also keep up to date withsystem upgrades.If you experience problemsdownloading the Dyson Link appor pairing your device; first checkthat you are connected to a Wi-Finetwork and Bluetooth ® wirelesstechnology is enabled on yourmobile device and try again.If you continue to experienceproblems downloading the app orpairing your device, please contactthe Dyson Helpline.Google Play and the Google Play logo aretrademarks of Google Inc.Apple and the Apple logo are trademarks ofApple Inc., registered in the U.S. and othercountries.
