The MF and HF devices shall be loaded on horns that pro-vide a nominal 90° x 40° beamwidth. An internal passivecrossover network shall offer either bi- or tri-amplified oper-ation, configurable via jumpers on the input panel.System frequency response shall vary no more than 63 dBfrom 70 Hz to 15 kHz measured on axis. The LF section shallproduce a sound pressure level of 97 dB SPL on axis at 1 meterwith a power input of 1 watt, and shall be capable of pro-ducing a peak output of 134 dB SPL on axis at 1 meter. TheLF section shall handle 1200 watts of amplifier power (AESStandard) and shall have a nominal impedance of 4 ohms.When operated in bi-amplified mode, the MF/HF section shallproduce a sound pressure level of 107 dB SPL on axis at 1meter with a power input of 1 watt, and shall be capable ofproducing a peak output of 142 dB SPL on axis at 1 meter. TheMF/HF section shall handle 800 watts of amplifier power (AESStandard) and shall have a nominal impedance of 4 ohms.When operated in tri-amplified mode, the MF section shallproduce a sound pressure level of 110 dB SPL on axis at 1meter with a power input of 1 watt, and shall be capable ofproducing a peak output of 145 dB SPL on axis at 1 meter. TheMF section shall handle 800 watts of amplifier power (AESStandard) and shall have a nominal impedance of 4 ohms.The HF section shall produce a sound pressure level of 106 dBSPL on axis at 1 meter with a power input of 1 watt, and shallbe capable of producing a peak output of 134 dB SPL on axisat 1 meter. The HF section shall handle 150 watts of amplifi-er power (AES Standard) and shall have a nominal impedanceof 8 ohms.The loudspeaker enclosure shall be trapezoidal in shape. Itshall be constructed of exterior grade Baltic birch plywoodand shall employ extensive internal bracing. It shall be fin-ished in wear-resistant textured black paint. Input connectorsshall be a terminal strip. A total of 16x 3/8”-16 threadedmounting/suspension points (4 each top, bottom, and sides)shall be provided. The front of the loudspeaker shall be cov-ered with a powder coated perforated steel grille.The 3-way full-range loudspeaker shall be the EAW modelMQV2394e. |
