When suspendingKF730 or SB730s from the Fly-Bar, always use the upper hole for attaching the enclosureHinges. The lower hole is not load-rated and is to be used ONLY for attaching ground-stackedenclosures when using the Fly-Bar inverted as the base of the stack. Failure to follow this warningmay result in damage to the equipment damage, injury, or death.KF730 AND SB730 HINGE AND HINGE TUBE HOLES6.4.5 Locking PinsWARNING: Due to center of gravity issues with a suspended curved array, any open splaysbetween enclosures may close up unexpectedly either during array assembly or disassembly. Toprevent this occurrence and possible injury that may result, always use locking pins in the rearHinges and Hinge Tubes on each enclosure. When ground stacking, creating splays betweenenclosures REQUIRES the use of locking pins to create rear splays. Each KF730 is supplied with six 1.5 in Quick Release Pins. Two ofthese Pins are intended for use as locking pins. Certain arrayconfigurations and array tilts can cause the collapse of any open splaysbetween KF730 enclosures. This is more likely to occur the more thearray is curved relative to its length. Locking pins can prevent theoccurrence of splay collapse.Locking pins are inserted in the Hinge Tubes through the hole in thepart of the Hinge that is captive to that Hinge Tube and below the Hingeknuckle. This prevents the Hinge from receding into its own HingeTube, which is what happens when the splay between two enclosurescollapses.Hole 1Hole 2Hole 1Hole 2FRONTHINGEREARHINGEUPPER HOLES: USE THESE HOLESFOR SUSPENSIONWARNING: USE LOWER HOLESONLY FOR GROUND STACKINGLOCKING PINHOLEHINGE KNUCKLE(hidden)Hole 1Hole 2REARHINGETUBEHole AHole BREARHINGEFRONTHINGEHole 1Hole 2Hole 3Hole 4
