The system shall havea nominal coverage pattern of 120° (conical). An internalpassive filter network shall provide fourth order acousticalcrossover and system equalization. The drivers shall be mag-netically shielded allowing the systems to be used in imme-diate proximity to video monitors.System frequency response shall vary no more than ±3 dBfrom 98 Hz to 20 kHz measured on axis. The loudspeakershall produce a Sound Pressure Level (SPL) of 89 dB SPL onaxis at 1 meter with a power input of 1 Watt, and shall becapable of producing a peak output of 116.5 SPL on axis at1 meter. The loudspeaker shall handle 140 Watts of amplifierpower (AES Standard) and shall have a nominal impedanceof 8 Ohms.The loudspeaker enclosure shall be rectangular in shape andshall be available in left/right mirror-imaged pairs. It shallbe constructed of 3/4-in medium density fiberboard (MDF)and shall employ extensive internal bracing. It shall be fin-ished in black catalyzed polyurethane. Input connectors shallbe 2-terminal barrier strip.
