UPS Operating InstructionsEaton 93E UPS (300/400 kVA, 380/400/415V) Installation and Operation Manual 6-153. If the UPS contains an Input breaker, open the UPS Input breaker.4. If an external maintenance bypass is installed, ensure it is off/open.5. Open the UPS input and bypass feeder circuit breakers.6. Open all external battery breakers.6.3.10 Charger ControlTo turn the battery charger on:1. Select the CONTROLS symbol on the main menu bar. The System Control screen is displayed.2. Select Battery on the System Control screen.3. On the Battery System Control screen, select the RESTING CHARGING command, then press theRETURN pushbutton.To turn the battery charger off:1. Select the CONTROLS symbol on the main menu bar. The System Control screen is displayed.2. Select Battery on the System Control screen.3. On the Battery System Control screen, select the CHARGING RESTING command, then press theRETURN pushbutton.This UPS has a user initiated battery test intended to determine if the batteries are able tosupport the load.The battery test is only able to be initiated when the battery is fully charged. This normallyoccurs within 72 hours of the start of a charging cycle. The command will not be shown ifthe test is not able to be run.NOTE 1NOTE 26.3.11 Battery TestTo start the battery test:1.
