INS #Installation InstructionsModel # CKT16Model # CKT32Model # CKT48Serial Enclosure (CKT)Boîtier série (CKT)Alojamiento Serial (CKT)General InformationThe Serial Enclosure is packaged separately from theControlKeeper TouchScreen Logic Board to protectcomponents during shipping. This installation instructionpertains to the installation of the enclosure for this unit. Please refer to the ControlKeeper T installation instructionincluded in the box with the ControlKeeper Logic Boardfor information specific to the logic board installation. The ControlKeeper T enclosure is available in threedifferent sizes: 16 size, 32 size and 48 size. It can beconfigured with different relay types as needed to achieveyour lighting needs.Getting Started1. Do not discard these installation instructions. Pleasekeep for future reference and operation information.2. The relays and center rail are protected by shrink-wrap. Leave shrink-wrap in place until all drilling andmetal work is complete to protect against metalshards getting into component circuitry.3. Always disconnect all power before wiring.4. Use only as intended and at the listed voltage.5. All installation service must be performed by qualifiedpersonnel or service technicians.6. Install in accordance with National Electrical Codeand any other codes that may apply.7. High voltage is present inside the lighting enclosure.Use extreme caution when performing maintenanceon this equipment. Failure to follow this warning andproper safety procedures could result in severe injuryor death and/or damage to the equipment.8. Document all wiring that is terminated to the relaysso that the lighting control equipment can be properlyconfigured and programmed for operation.Mounting the Enclosure1. If the enclosure is a 32 or 48 size, remove the upperbackplate from the enclosure by using the 1/4 turnscrews provided. The proper operation of thesescrews is to push in gently and turn 1/4 turn left untilthe screw head is horizontal to release the catchmechanism. Turning these screws more than 1/4 turnmay cause them to break.2. Choose a dry location convenient to the circuitbreaker panel.3. Mount the panel on a firm surface using pre-drilledholes.4. Connect the enclosure to the circuit breaker panelusing conduit. The conduit punch hole can not exceed3 inches from the back of the enclosure. If thismeasurement is exceeded, the logic board will not fitproperly inside the enclosure.5. Remove all cuttings and dirt before removing shrink-wrap from the relays and center rails.Note:N Make certain that high voltage and low voltagewiring enters the enclosure separately. Highvoltage wiring should not be brought into theenclosure through the bottom or bottom left cornerof the enclosure.Low voltage wiring can be brought into the enclosurefrom the bottom or bottom left of the enclosure. If lowvoltage wire must be brought into the cabinet from thetop section, there is a knockout reserved on the left sidewhich will allow conduit to be run from the top of theenclosure into the low voltage wiring area. Failure toseparate high voltage from low voltage wiring may causeinterference with logic board function.
