If any questions arise, contact Cutler-Hammer forfurther information or instructions.1.0 GENERAL INFORMATIONThe Digitrip OPTIM 550, illustrated in Figure 1-1, is anelectronic trip unit that incorporates a microprocessor-based custom application specific integrated circuitdesign for use with the Series C K-Frame Molded CaseCircuit Breakers.The Digitrip OPTIM 550 provides true RMS currentsensing for proper correlation with thermal characteris-tics of conductors and equipment.
