TheEAFR-07 fiber is a robust fiber optic cable providing practi-cally unlimited bending radius. EAFR-07 contains hundredsof glass fiber drains covered by a plastic tube making itextremely strong. The EAFR-07 sensors can be orderedin pre-manufactured lengths of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35,40, 45, 50 m (32.81, 49.21, 65.62, 82.02, 98.43, 114.83,131.23, 147.64, 164.04 ft). The EAFR-07 loop sensor fiberoptic cable should be distributed throughout the protectedswitchgear cells.The EAFR-07 is not recommended to be cut and/or splicedon site. If accidental breakage of the loop sensor occurs,Eaton recommends replacing the loop sensor. Contact yournearest Eaton representative for more information.The fixed light sensitivity of the EAFR-07 sensor is 8,000Lux. The sensor does not require user settings. It is developed to withstandtemperatures of up to 125°C (257°F) and is therefore suit-able for installation in wind turbine windings. The EAFR-08fiber is a robust fiber optic cable providing practically unlimit-ed bending radius. The EAFR-08 contains hundreds of glassfiber drains covered by a plastic tube making it extremelystrong.
