Attach leads from one end of kit’s longer cable (Item 8)to the two outer switch terminals marked COMMONand CLOSED (Figure 12).Figure 12. Switch SW2 mounted with cable routedthrough mounting plate.2. Pull cable through hole in mounting plate (Item 7)(Figure 12).3. Attach switch SW2 to new mounting plate (Figures12 and 13). Use the hardware removed from originalswitch SW2 to attach switch through plate’s oblong andsmall middle holes (Figure 13). Do not tighten hardwareat this time. Leave switch slightly loose for futureadjustment.Figure 13. Kit mounting plate for switch SW2.4. Place cable over spacer near cable hole, then securelytighten assembly to frame. Use the two smallerspacers (Item 4), machine screws (Item 5), and self-locking elastic stop nuts (Item 6) to attach mountingplate to frame (Figure 15). Tighten stop nuts to a torquevalue of 16-18 in-lbs.otee:N Some models of reclosers require new holes drilledbefore attaching the mounting plate.
