Transfer the critical load to bypass by performing the procedure inparagraph 7.4.17.2. Press the CONTROLS pushbutton on the main menu bar. The System Statusscreen is displayed.3. If UPM 4 (FI-UPM) is installed, proceed to Step 4; otherwise, proceed to Step 8.4. On the System Status screen, select the UPM command. The UPS ControlCommand screen screen is displayed.5. On the UPS Control Command screen, select the UPM 1 command.6. Press the CONTROLS pushbutton on the UPS Control Command menu bar. TheUPM 1 Control Command screen is displayed.7. Proceed to Step 10.8. On the System Status screen, select the UPM command.9. Press the CONTROLS pushbutton on the System Status Command menu bar. TheUPM 1 Control Command screen is displayed.10. On the UPM 1 Control Command screen, select UPM OFF.11. Press the SELECT pushbutton on the UPM 1 Command menu bar.The UPM status indicates READY. The input, output, and battery contactorsopen, and the power module remains on.12. To turn off the power module, press the CONTROLS pushbutton on the UPSControl Command menu bar. The UPM 1 Control Command screen is displayed.13. On the UPM 1 Control Command screen, select UPM OFF.14. Press the SELECT pushbutton on the UPM 1 Command menu bar.The UPM status indicates SHUTDOWN. The power module is turned off.Logic power remains on.15. If UPM 4 (FI-UPM) is installed, repeat Steps 5 through 14 selecting UPM 4 to shutdown UPM 4.16. Repeat Steps 2 through 15 for each UPS in the distributed bypass system.W A R N I N GPower is present inside the UPS cabinet.7.4.20 Single UPM ShutdownTo shut down a single UPM:1. Press the CONTROLS pushbutton on the main menu bar. The System Statusscreen is displayed.2. If UPM 4 (FI-UPM) is installed, proceed to Step 3; otherwise, proceed to Step 7.
