7Troubleshooting5. What length HDMI cable are you using?(See the Installation section in this manual fordetails on the maximum cable distance.) Theshorter the cable being used, the higher theresolution you will be able to obtain. If you arenot able to get an acceptable image, try usinga shorter cable or lowering your source’s videoresolution or color depth settings.6. What type of cabling are you using? Inferiorcabling can result in poor performance, so it isimportant that you use cables that can supportthe video resolution you are trying to obtain. Itis recommended that you use P569-Series High-Speed HDMI cables, as they have been tested towork with the B119-003-UHD-MN.7. Test your cables to ensure they are workingproperly. For example, connect your HDMIcable between a source and a monitor that youknow work to see if the cable is functioning.8. Is the unit located in an area that exposesit to higher temperatures? If the product isoverheated, it will not function properly.
