Warranty and Product Registration14.1 UPS and Battery StorageIf storing the UPS system for any extended period of time, store the UPS in its original packaging in a dry, dust free environment. Do not stackother equipment on top of the UPS.Storage temperature for the STS, Switch and Power Modules may not exceed 5 to 140°F / -15 to 60°C. If the UPS system also contains BatteryModule(s) the optimum storage and operating temperature is 77°F / 25°C to protect the battery life. The storage temperature for the BatteryModule may not exceed 32 to 104°F / 0 to 40°C.If Battery Modules are stored for an extended period of time, they must be recharged regularly to ensure battery integrity. When the storagetemperature is maintained at a constant 77°F / 25°C, the batteries should be recharged every 6 months; if the storage temperature is greaterthan 77°F / 25°C, the batteries should be recharged every 2-3 months.14.2 Battery DisposalUPS and Battery RecyclingPlease recycle Tripp Lite Products. The batteries used in Tripp Lite products are sealed Lead-Acid batteries. These batteries are highlyrecyclable. Please refer to local codes for disposal requirements.
