Replacement PartsITEMS DESCRIPTION EATON STYLE NUMBERSPRING CHARGING MOTOR 48Vdc125Vdc250Vdc / 240Vac94C9525G1094C9525G1194C9525G12ComponentReplacement WARNINGVERIFY CIRCUIT BREAKER IS OPEN, CLOSING SPRINGS AREDISCHARGED, AND CONTROL POWER IS DISCONNECTED.Replacing The Charging MotorRemove the motor leads from TB7 and TB8.Remove the spring holding the ratchet pawl in the centersection of the mechanism; lift the pawl up out of theway.Rotate eccentric on the motor shaft to the top end of themotor.Unscrew the eccentric counterclockwise – use a woodenhammer handle to break the threadsRemove the two screws on the right hand motor supportplate, using a 9/64in. Allen wrench. Remove the motorplate from the side sheet for the 5kV circuit breaker.Remove the motor.Verify the new motor has the correct motor voltage onthe motor sticker.Lubricate the motor threads using synthetic molybdenumdisulfide grease, Eaton No. 53702AML00.Position the new motor in place and install eccentric in aclockwise direction.Install the motor plate if it was previously removed.Secure the motor in place using the two Allen headscrews.Install the ratchet pawl spring.Rewire the motor leads to the terminal block; Black onTB8, and White on TB7.otee:N Replacement of the charging motor.10EATON | Visual Instruction Booklet Essentials | November 2018
