Periodic carburetor adjustmentmay be necessary to assure blades do not move at idle. Ifblades move, readjust carburetor according to “CarburetorAdjustment” instructions in this manual or see your ECHODealer.1. Stop SwitchMove stop switch (A) away from the STOP position.2. Purge BulbPump purge bulb (C) until fuel is visible and flows freely in theclear fuel tank return line. Pump bulb an additional 4 or 5times.3. Recoil StarterPlace the unit on a flat, clear area. Grip the support handlesecurely with right hand, and pull the recoil starter handle (D)with left hand until engine fires.Note: If engine does not start after 5 pulls, use Cold StartProcedure.Stopping Engine1. ThrottleRelease throttle and allow engine to return to idle beforeshutting off engine.2. Stop SwitchMove stop switch (A) to STOP position.If engine does not stop when stop switch is moved to STOPposition, close choke - COLD START position - to stall engine. Have your ECHO dealer repair stopswitch before using unit again.ACDA
