20• Never adjust blade angle of HCA while standing• Only adjust cutting angle with HCA resting flat on the ground, withthe engine stop switch in the "STOP" position.• Adjust cutting angle by moving locking lever (A) up. Depress bladeindexing lever (B) and change blade angle with rear cutter assemblyhandle. Release indexing lever into notch. Move locking lever downto completely engage internal gears.IMPORTANTLocking lever (A) does not secure gear box angle setting. Movinglever in the down position reduces internal play in the gear box.Do not over tighten castle nut (C) to insure gear box angle settingtightness because damage to internal gears will occur. If the leveris loose or very tight, adjust nut (C) for snug 90° movement.STARTING COLD ENGINEWARNING DANGERBlades should not move at idle.
