Stop SwitchMove stop switch (A) to STOPposition.If engine does not stop when stop switch is moved to STOPposition, close choke - COLD START position - to stall engine. Haveyour dealer repair stop switch before using unit again.Hedge TrimmingEngine exhaust IS HOT, and contains Carbon Monoxide (CO), apoison gas. Breathing CO can cause unconsciousness, seriousinjury, or death. Exhaust can cause serious burns. ALWAYSposition unit so that exhaust is directed away from your face andbody.Hedge Trimmer blades are very sharp.Touching them may lead to severepersonal injury. Avoid touching bladeswhenever possible, and always weargloves to protect hands.1. Always grip support handle with right handand throttle handle with left hand.2. Hold trimmer firmly and squeeze throttletrigger to accelerate engine.3. Tilt trimmer so cutting teeth are angledslightly toward the hedge or shrub andproceed to cut.A
