You are the owner of a carefully designed and manufactured equipment.We thank you for trusting in us and choosing our UMA Series loudspeaker cabinets.In order to get the optimum operation and efficiency from this unit, it is VERY IMPORTANT- before you plug anything - to read this manual very carefully and bear in mind all considerationsspecified within it. We strongly recommend that its maintenance be carried out by our AuthorisedTechnical services.2. WARNINGSNo user serviceable parts exist inside these units.Never use this unit in the proximity of water. Do not expose the unit to water splashing, norplace liquid containers on top of it.Avoid placing the unit next to heat sources.Use only accessories provided by the manufacturer.The units must never be flown from their transportation handles. Use the correctaccessories for each application. Whenever loudspeakers are wall or ceiling mounted, a redundantmounting system is obligatory as safety measure. Use a steel cable or chain of suitable gauge toavoid the fall of the loudspeaker in case some element of the main suspension system would breakaway from its fastening device.3. INTRODUCTIONThe speakers of UMA series have been specially designed for a huge variety of mobileapplications und fix installations that require a compact and light speaker with a high efficiency andthat is easy to transport and to install.High quality 15 mm plywood has been used for manufacturing. All models are equippedwith a grill of 1.5mm thickness to protect the loudspeakers from blows or foreign objects. The UMAseries passive filters are LC type ones with low tolerance polyester condensers and heavy gaugewire coils. All models incorporate an effective high frequency protection system against feedback orsignal clipping. Connection plates are equipped with Speakon® connectors.
