64Basic operationCapturing imagesThe unit can capture images from DVD, video CD and multipurpose camerasand also navigation screens, and save them as image files. In addition, theseimages can then be used as background images for the audio operationscreen. Refer to "How to operate the DVD player" (page 95), "How to operatethe video CD player" (page 119) for details on DVD and video CD operations.[CAPT]ButtonThe mode will change to image capture mode.Video images will change to frame playback mode.If you press the [CAPT] button in the panel switches once more, imagecapture mode will be exited.Press the [CAPT] panel button.1ATTENTION•Capturing images when video images are not being played back or ofthe navigation system is being used or an external camera is connected,you can switch between the navigation screen and images from theexternal camera by touching on the touch screen.•Only images output from multipurpose cameras and navigation systemsadopting NTSC (3.58MHz) methods are compatible with this unit.
